If your child is interested in Elite, College or Scholarship baseball, Rob can offer valuable guidance and feedback. Rob is also skilled at creating scouting videos with knowledge about what scouts and coaches like to see and the proper angles that truly demonstrate player skills.
With his many years on and off the field, Rob is a treasure trove of baseball stories, milestone moments and experiences. He’s funny, entertaining, and knows how to lift a crowd. As a result, he’s a favourite when it comes to guest appearances at fundraisers, corporate events, and baseball team occasions. He has been a guest speaker at the Conn Smythe Dinner, Jays Care events, and the PanAm Games. If you want to raise the profile of your event with a celebrity speaker, feel free to reach out to us.
Fundraising for a good cause is a passion with Rob. He regularly participates in Softball or Baseball fundraising events as a player and/or speaker. He has played in the Grand Slam for mental health at the Michael Garron Hospital and the Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer Fundraiser for Princess Margaret Hospital for the last 10 years. Over the years, Rob has helped raise thousands of dollars for multiple causes and made a positive difference in the lives of many Canadians.
Rob loves to give back to the game that has given him so much. Knowing the profound influence a coach has on team members, Rob organizes Coaching Clinics to teach, help and guide coaches on not just the game skills, but also how to inspire, encourage and motivate players. Rob can help you develop drills to use with your team as well as your own knowledge base about fundamental skills.
Rob is quite comfortable working with small groups of players for weekly lessons throughout the winter months. Rob will work with 4 hitters or pitchers at a time inside a facility tunnel. Bring your small group for a clinic style experience and work with Rob for 5 weeks (or more) at the same time every week.
Baseball camps are great for learning the game and for team building. Over the last 17 years, Rob has worked with many teams and associations to run PA Day Clinics, March Break Camps, Christmas Break Camps and Summer Camps. Some teams booked one week off practices and games and worked with Rob from Monday to Friday in half day or full day camp settings. Rob offers flex schedules to fit the needs of the participants.
While training camps and player clinics are useful, there’s no substitute for personalized coaching. Rob can work with your budding baseball champ individually. These one-on-one sessions are invaluable to the young player who can get vital tips and lessons from a professional who has played at the highest level of the game. Training can be scheduled at the baseball field or at a facility.
Team practice is all about camaraderie and morale building. Rob is happy is come out and coach your team for a practice followed by sharing funny, heart-warming stories and the World Series Ring and Trophy. Pictures and autographs are always a fun time for parents and the baseball players.
